Approach
With NYC as the backdrop, this project aims to distill the raw essence and urban atmosphere of the metropolis into a curated visual narrative.
Through intentional framing, I aimed to capture a sense of kinetic stillness within every composition. The visual language is defined by a rich, vintage-inspired palette where varying color temperatures communicate a lively, almost fever-dream energy. It is a visual study of the city not as it is, but as it is felt—vibrant, fragmented, and alive.
Outcome
From composition to color grading, this collection reflects the nostalgic undertones present in the restless city.
The result is Fever Dream: a cinematic interplay between the stillness of the mundane and the vigor of the city. By prioritizing feeling over literal representation, this series accentuates the beauty of living fully in the moment.
